We spent almost eleven months traveling across America and it was the journey of a lifetime. I’m writing this post from Peru and although I can’t wait to tell you about our South American adventure I still have some pictures and stories left to share from our American trip.
My favorite part about our trip was visiting all those beautiful National Parks America is famous for – Yosemite, Big Sur, Lake Tahoe, Joshua Tree and Grand Canyon.

I grew up in Russia, and for this reason people always assume that I’m used to cold weather which is definitely not true. We spent last winter in New York, and as much as I love that city, there’s no way I would spend another winter (or summer for that matter) there.

BIG SUR

big surI’ve wanted to visit Big Sur for a long time. And so after leaving Santa Cruz, we knew exactly where to go next. Spending just a few hours there didn’t seem right, and we stayed in Monterey for a couple of days.
